Republican Senator Jim DeMint tweeted that he was "grateful for the thousands of patriots who are storming the Capitol today protesting government healthcare and defending freedom." The tweet came at around the same time the racist and homophobic comments above were reported.Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH17) went on the House floor and soundly denounced the teabaggers and their full bigoted, homophobic, hate-filled display on Saturday.
Now I think it's time for all those congresspeople feeding into this frenzy to step in and denounce hate. Bachmann? Tancredo? Demint? Boehner? Pence? Foxx? King? Come forward now, and denounce the scary result of your fear-mongering.

Yeah, because standing up for freedom is such a pussy thing to do. You know you assholes think that people owe you something so you encourage taxing the hell out of the so-called evil rich when all you do is promote the taking of one more freedom with your stupidity.
When the HCR passed all it did was take one more freedom away from what was once a free republic.
Damned sad to see that freedom costs too much for Americans to pay anymore. Personal responsibility is such a high price to pay.
It is not about hate. It is about the same damned thing that formed this country. High taxes and a government that kept taking more and more freedom from the people. No, it was NOT about religion. Learn your history.
Understand the difference between hating for no reason and hating for a very good reason. You want to be a government slave. Feel free. Personally, I prefer to be my own man and get through this life with as little government intrusion as possible with the ability to live my life in the same ideals of Life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness and.. equality under the law.
You think someone that pays 38% taxation is being treated equally with the person that pays NO taxes? If you do, then you are just like the rest of the entitlement mentality people who think they deserve simply because they live. Got news for you. Many people are getting to the point where there are getting ready to start taking people like you out.
