End The War


Many of you have increased pressure on Congress and the Bush administration with the passage of your local and state resolutions and ballot measures calling for an end to war.

Many more of you are working on passage. These local and state anti-war expressions now represent fully HALF OF ALL AMERICANS! Let's keep it up! Log on to www.citiesforpeace.org to view Cities for Peace cities and to learn how to transform yours into one.

We have lots of work to do. United for Peace and Justice ins launching some regional actions on Oct 27. We hope that all Cities for Peace activists and municipal officials will be involved! It is time to send yet another message to Washington that enough is enough!

This October 27 is the National Mobilization to end the War in Iraq. Peace marches in eleven major American will make this a day of national solidarity for peace! Please join if you live near Boston, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Seattle, San Fransisco, or Jonesborough, Tenn.

We urge all supporters of the peace movement to contribute by inviting friends, family, and city councils to take part in these important demonstrations.

  1. I love going to these rallys. I don't care if its about the war, impeachment, whatever as long as I get to vent my frustration.

    Bush bashing is very theraputic.
