HERE IT COMES! BEWARE! LOOK OUT! TIMES A RUNNIN OUT!
Oh.......almost forgot...........
WE'RE COMING FOR YOUR GUNS!
Prepare yourselves.....we are about to go over the "fiscal cliff" (ba bum buuuuuummm.......>best attempt at suspense music<)
The latest and greatest of the media catch phrase craze. The Fiscal Cliff. Sounds spooky dont it? I put this right up there with Mayan Apocalypse Predictions and stories of rib women and zombie gods. (Even though the Mayans actually existed at one point and the whole "end of the world" nonsense was the product of our ever sensationalizing media. It seems the more outrageous and stupidly entertaining stories come out, the more the gullible American viewer gobbles that shit up like a Pac Man swallowed pills or whatever those dots were supposed to represent. When things like this happens, its usually because they are trying to ditch a more significant event going on around us.
So what IS going on that you might not know about but should.
Growing tensions with Iran as America flexes it muscles in our quest for world dominance. This is all Im going to say about this, not because it isnt newsworthy but because if you didnt see this coming you are beyond any hope of salvation. I would suggest you stop reading this and look for reruns of Dancing With The Stars.
We are seeing a growing number of people requesting a police or military presence in our schools now. Seems like our entire world is changing for the worse under the guise of "protecting" the children. WE MUST PROTECT THE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. Never mind that its the pschotic indoctrination of the children by the stupidity of their parents and the rantings bellowed at them from the insane pulpit. Never mind the mental and emotional abuse bestowed upon the by the figure heads in their lives. Lets just put a band aid on that festering cancer. Out of sight, out of mind right?
Our freedom and democracy doesn't mean baseball, hot dogs and moms apple pie any longer. Hell no, the 21st century changed that. Thanks to our citizen elected "leaders" freedom and democracy means Government Stranglehold. There are cameras EVERYWHERE. You cant make one move without it being recorded somewhere. Question authority? Be prepared to get a beat down. Hell, we have seen flagrant cases of police brutality and we are more outraged about our favorite television show being canceled.
So I dont want to overwhelm you into ODing on your favorite psychiatric drug so I will just leave those. There are more - A LOT more - that I can share but that might wake you up. Wouldn't want to do THAT. You seem happy and content wallowing in your servitude. But you can only keep hitting that snooze button for so long before you have to either wake the fuck up or just go back to sleep.
.
.
The dark underbelly of America contains numerous warts, boils, and cancerous tumors, inflicted by that loathsome grimoire of madness that the elected leaders of our nation have become.
Well, I'm FedUp and I'm not taking it any more!

Presidents Day
So, yesterday was
President's Day...big fucking deal.
It’s a national holiday where banks, libraries, schools and other federal institutions are given the day off and we are expected to honor all presidents of the past and present.
It’s a national holiday where banks, libraries, schools and other federal institutions are given the day off and we are expected to honor all presidents of the past and present.
2012 also
happens to be an election year. A time we are supposed to honor our future
presidents by actually getting off our lazy American asses and vote for the
person in a flawed two party system that sucks less than the other guy.
We have
presented to us the craziest of the crazy coming out of the republican party
once again and we have an unchallenged by primary incumbent fraud coming from
the dems and we’re all supposed to have this moms apple pie feeling falsely
believing we live in a democracy when less than a fourth of our population
takes the time to actually care enough to vote and the rest vote just to keep
the other team off the field.
When you vote for a candidate who doesn’t represent
your views in order to stop another candidate who doesn’t represent your views,
you end up with a government that not only doesn’t represent you views, but is
run by people who have no incentive or motivation to even consider what you
might think.
Historically, the leaders that “We The People” elect have ALWAYS blown smoke up our asses. From General George to Mr Hope and Change. They have ALWAYS lied to us. Its what makes up the American political system. Without the smoke and mirrors the system would completely crumble, the wizard would be exposed as just a man hiding behind the curtain.
Sorry to burst the kumbaya moment for everyone but you need to wake the fuck up. It is those that we are supposed to honor today that have gotten us into this mess we find ourselves in. You can blame Congress, you can blame the other guys, you can blame your fucking weird Uncle Jessie that keeps asking you to pull his finger even though you are an adult and the amusement of that went away long ago.
Just like the amusement of falling for the bullshit that has come out of the White House for over 200 years.
You see, from the lies of our founding fathers who told us that all men were created equal when they were slave owners to the Nobel Peace prize winner that is responsible for more deaths than any other peace prize recipient have been meant to deceive and provide a false sense of greatness. Much like The Wizard and his munchkins.
We are supposedly the greatest nation on earth – according to what we are told anyway – yet we are no better than the third world countries that manufacture everything that Walmart sells. We have been a nation for 236 years and have been involved in some sort of war effort for 220 of them. We invade foreign countries and force our democratic way of life on their citizens at the point of a gun. We applaud when nations like Egypt rise up against their oppressive government yet treat those bold enough to protest in America as enemy combatants. We allow our citizens to starve or die from a treatable illness because their incomes are not sufficient enough to live while other citizens hoard the wealth they produce with the sole purpose of getting more. They avoid taxation and cry foul when asked to pay their fair share.
And the people we are
told to honor this day are the ones that have been bought and sold by those
with the wealth. Their crimes and indiscretions forgiven and paid for by the
blood of the poor.
It astonishes me to find that so many of our American
citizens should be content to live under a system which leaves to their government
the power of taking from them the trial by jury in civil cases, freedom of
religion, freedom of the press, freedom of commerce, the habeas corpus laws,
and of yoking them with a standing army. This is a degeneracy in the principles
of liberty which I would not have expected for the greatest country in the
world.
"There has never been a golden age of liberty, and there never will be. People who value freedom will always have to defend it from those who claim the right to wield power over others.
"There has never been a golden age of liberty, and there never will be. People who value freedom will always have to defend it from those who claim the right to wield power over others.
It’s a backwards fucked up society we live in today and I am NOT proud of my country. I love the land and most of its people but I despise our criminal elect. They keep us dumbed down enough to vote for them each election cycle and have turned us all into a nation of slaves. We are all slaves to our corporate masters. They continue to bend us over and drive their corporate personhood home without the benefit of even the slightest bit of lube and we continue doing the same things over and over as evidenced throughout our brief history expecting a different result.
And don’t get me started on the religious lunatic fucks that keep trying to shove their fantasy cock down everyones throat with their nonsensical bullshit. Personally I could give a flying fuck about what someone believes but when they try to legislate those same beliefs as reality I DO have a problem with that. With the insanity of a belief system that degrades women and reduces them to brood mares for men, that believes in talking snakes, rib women, zombie saviors and other superstitious nonsense AND with the mass hysteria and shared delusions attempting to run peoples lives is it any wonder America finds itself in the world of shit we are wallowing in.

You Might Be A republicunt IF:
- You think the right to life ends at birth.
- You think that corporations have more compassion than humans.
- You think trickle down economics actually trickles down.
- You understand that getting people to
vote on abortion issues will keep you in office and let you pass tax cuts for
the upper class
- You think that the best way to protect people from illegal drugs is to put them in prison.
- You think "compassionate conservatism" is when you feel sorry for the homeless guy sleeping in the gutter as you step over him on your way to a $1000 a plate fundraiser for Tom Delay.
- You are opposed to increasing the minimum wage and in favor of repealing taxes on inherited wealth.
- You are opposed to Affirmative Action in college admissions and attended a private university as a "legacy."
- You really believe that cutting taxes increases government revenues.
- You believe in "Liberty and Justice for All" (rich, white, straight men)
- You rant and rave about Liberals but have never actually met any.
- You actually think that Fox News does not "spin."
- You are rotating so fast that you think Fox News is standing still and the rest of the world is spinning.
- You dodged the draft during Viet Nam (with Daddy's help) and now you question the courage and patriotism of men who came back with medals (and scars) and understand wars are bad.
- You think that a president lying about getting a blowjob is far more serious than a president lying about the reasons for starting a war.
- You think it is treasonous for a newspaper to report that the government is lying, using torture, invading someone's privacy or breaking the law but think it's okay for them to expose the identity of a covert CIA agent for partisan purposes.
- you think that (compared to you), a whiskey-guzzling, coke-sniffing, draft-dodging loser is the cream of the American crop and the best this country could offer up for President.
- You believe you protect freedom by sacrificing it.

Bernie Sez STRENGTHEN Social Security!
"Social Security is the most successful government program in our
nation's history. For 76 years, through good times and bad, Social
Security has paid out every benefit owed to every eligible American,"
Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday told a Capitol press conference. He
introduced legislation to keep the retirement program sound for another
75 years. "The most effective way to strengthen Social Security is to
eliminate the cap on the payroll tax on income above $250,000. Right
now, someone who earns $106,800 pays the same amount of money into
Social Security as a billionaire. That makes no sense. The Keeping Our Social Security Promises Act will ensure the long-term solvency of Social Security without cutting benefits or raising taxes on the middle class."
Sanders's measure is cosponsored by Sens. Daniel Akaka, Patrick Leahy, Barbara Boxer, Claire McCaskill, Sheldon Whitehouse, Al Franken and Richard Blumenthal. Rep. Peter DeFazio introduced the companion bill in the House.
Under the proposed legislation, the wealthiest Americans would pay the same payroll tax already assessed on those with incomes up to $106,800 a year. Social Security officials have calculated that the simple change would keep the retirement program strong for another 75 years.
The legislation also follows through on a proposal that President Barack Obama made in 2008 when he was running for the White House.
Since it was signed into law 76 years ago, Social Security has kept millions of senior citizens, widows, widowers, orphans, and the disabled out of poverty. Before Social Security, about half of senior citizens lived in poverty. Today, less than 10 percent live in poverty and more than 53 million Americans receive retirement or disability benefits.
The most successful government program in our nation's history has not contributed one dime to the federal deficit. It has a $2.5 trillion surplus, and it can pay out every nickel owed to every eligible American for at least the next 25 years, according to the Social Security Administration. A recent report from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that Social Security is in even better financial shape and can pay all promised benefits until 2038.

What "Team" Are You On?
FROM AN EMAIL RECEIVED FROM ALTERNET:
In America, our culture is all about teams -- belonging, being part of something bigger, rooting for your side against the "other" team. There are, of course, many kinds of teams that make up the fabric of America, and we all have our favorites.
In America, our culture is all about teams -- belonging, being part of something bigger, rooting for your side against the "other" team. There are, of course, many kinds of teams that make up the fabric of America, and we all have our favorites.
Over the past 10 years, mainly as a result of wrong choices after 9-11, the conservative, radical, religious, anti-Muslim, tea-party right has identified itself as a power-hungry, mean-spirited, spiteful, selfish team. And whether we like it or not, we are the "team" they love to hate -- that's right -- you and I are their enemy -- we are the "other." And they have declared war. And they are winning big time.
The richest leader of Team Tea Party, Charles Koch, told his conservative millionaire guests recently that the 2012 elections are a battle "for the life or death of this country." He said, "You, the people in this room, are the modern day patriots who will save this country or let it go by the wayside. It's up to us."
They are the patriots? What a propaganda joke! They want an America for the wealthy. They want our country dominated by conservative religion and the extremist Ayn Rand fanatics. For the Tea Partiers, everyone is on his or her own, except for themselves. They want to take away what millions of Americans have worked for their whole lives. As Koch said, "It is time to tackle the big things, like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security systems, because they are bankrupting America." That is, of course, a blatant lie. And by the way, in that talk, Koch called Barack Obama, “Saddam Hussein.”
Which Team Are You On?
So the big question is: Do you know which team you are on?
Personally, Im on MY side. Im looking out for myself because it seems ONLY I have MY best interests at heart, not the people we elect. PRIMARY OBAMA 2012 - Fed Up

Liberals got women the right to vote.
Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote.
Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty.
Liberals ended segregation.
Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
Liberals created Medicare.
Liberals passed the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.
What did the ignorant conservatives do?
They opposed them on every one of those things.
Every damn one!
So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal,' as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor.
