People diagnosed with schizophrenia suffer from problems with their thought processes. These lead to hallucinations, delusions, disordered thinking, and unusual speech or behavior. Symptoms affect the ability to interact with others, and often people with schizophrenia withdraw from the outside world.
Q. What's the difference between a Christian and a schizophrenic?
A. One person hears voices and is convinced their thoughts and actions are known to some outside power.
They think the world was designed and created for them and that they are central to everything that goes on and they are sure they are part of a special divine mission.
They believe that ordinary everyday events have some special transcendent meaning visible only to them, sometimes speaking in babbling incoherent voices, and they believe supernatural forces are at work to influence their actions.
And the other one, of course, is a schizophrenic.
The Bible is filled with reports of people hearing voices and seeing visions. In the pre-psychiatric world that Jesus allegedly walked upon, these “miracles” were attributed to their God. Combine a superstitious person, which most of the day were, with a psychiatric disorder as serious as schizophrenia and you have a very volatile and dangerous situation.
A dangerous situation that has morphed itself into a monster centuries later. The Christian of the modern day, especially the devout Christian that believes that the voices and visions mentioned in the Bible are real, have accepted the schizophrenia and superstitions of the people of Jesus era.
They even go as far as to sing praises to this fairy tale God of theirs, with arms raised and vacant, glassy stares to the heavens, believing that there is a magical, mystical being that is looking down, approvingly at them.
There is a very big problem with Christian delusions accompanied by auditory and visual hallucinations. They live in a world of make believe that is responsible for centuries of fear, guilt, death and destruction of families. Christian atrocities throughout history include the crusades, the Salem witch trials and various episodes of torture all in the name of the Christian God and mass hallucinations and religious belief.
Politicians have been heavily influenced in basing their legislative decisions, ignoring the separation of church and state, on their religious beliefs and insurance companies have been using the “act of God” clause to get out of paying claims. People have been accepting these things for centuries and need to finally wake up and face reality.
Schizophrenia is a lifelong illness and will require medication for the rest of the patient’s life. They find comfort in church services and fellow Christians that share their same hallucinations and delusions, by their beliefs in things that can never be proven as real. This is a problem because they will revolve their entire lives around a make believe story. They will even go as far as believing that they are superior compared to a non-believer because they feel as though they are chosen or more enlightened.
Schizophrenia is a treatable mental illness and will undoubtedly get worse the longer it goes untreated. Trying to convince a Christian that they are suffering the symptoms is the problem. They don’t believe that they are sick and need medical treatment.
Look at it this way. Let’s suppose that I came to you one day and said that I was enlightened last night by an angel that told me that I will have “life everlasting” by simply believing so. The only condition is that I must always believe, even when evidence points to the contrary, or I will lose my life everlasting “gift.”
The belief would be that I discovered that a story of Humpty Dumpty, complete with all the kings’ horses and all the kings’ men, was based on real accounts of a story by Mother Goose. I found these stories to be as real as the story Mother Mary and will not be told anything to the contrary.
Would you not find me as being a mental case?
The dark underbelly of America contains numerous warts, boils, and cancerous tumors, inflicted by that loathsome grimoire of madness that the elected leaders of our nation have become.
Well, I'm FedUp and I'm not taking it any more!

Pedophiles and Christianity
Christian pedophiles abound in America.
They're the priests, ministers, preachers, and religious "leaders" of our communities. They're the same moral "leaders" who scream from their pulpits about the "evils of homosexuality" and the "sin of fornication."
They're the same "leaders" who demand all men (they rarely mention women) need "redemption" that "only the good lord Jesus Christ!" can provide. A few of you might want to close your eyes and glibly claim, "Oh, but they're not True Christians" and thereby sluff the epidemic problem off of your shoulders and try to pretend it's someone else's problem.
If you want to play that game then you're responsible for allowing it to continue unchecked. If you want to pretend Christians some how stop being Christians when they rape their first child, then YOU are responsible for allowing it to continue. The fact is that ending child abuse is the responsibility of all of us.
The problem of Christian clergy child sexual abuse is so epidemic in Westernized socities that the "Sodomizing Priest" has become both stereotypical and cliche. It's not limited to one particular brand name of Christianity; it's not an aspect of ideological differences; it's epidemic to all Christian brand names. Christianity doesn't create child-abusing pedophiles in numbers lesser than or greater than any other deity-oriented religion.
What the Christian clergy does provide is a safe heaven for pedophiles. If Christianity were to finally be educated out of the world populace, these pedophiles would find some other "excuse." Seemingly lacking any higher ethics and morals, many leaders of Christian child molesters most often don't even report such crimes.
Any normal organization or individual would turn these people over to a police authority for the horrible crimes they committ against children. Indeed, to not do so is complicity in the felony and, as you'll see in this series, is often grounds for a successful civil lawsuit against their church. Rather than turn the criminal over to the police authorities, most child molesters within the Christian clergy are sent to in-house "treatment centers" where "psychological therapy" is provided.
The parents of the abused child most often complains to the clergy first and, after learning the priesthood is doing nothing to protect other children from their pedophiles, report the sexual abuse to the police much later. In many cases children don't report the abuse to their parents due to feelings of guilt and due to threats made by their parent's Christian leader.
It is only after they're old enough to have a say-so in which church (if any) to attend that they come forward and expose their victimization. Sadly, this means that in many cases statutes of limitations can kick in and the criminals can't be make to pay for all of their crimes. Since pedophiles rarely strike once, however, they eventually get reported by brave children who are specifically taught what bodily activities are not to be permitted by adults.
After they go through their period of "therapy," they often get shipped off to yet another church where, since their new congregations are never informed of their master's past, the cycle of abuse continues.

Let Us Prey
On the surface Christianity is simple.
When one moves beyond the surface however, it becomes a whole different thing. Something more complex. Although the command of all the religions that we should love one another, the specific differences between different factions have been the cause of anything but love.
Then there is the more liberal perception of God that is committed to the punishing the sins of racial injustice, materialism, greed, war and the destruction of life yet has selective discipline for some of other sins of man.
It seems that the reality of God exists in the minds of man as is defined by the individual’s level of acceptable sin. This is why I have stated that God was created in mans image.
I’m interested in knowing what Christians think about what Jesus would do about the people that call themselves Christians today. Would he be a supporter of the nosy Christians that badger patients of abortion clinics? Would he advocate the war in Iraq and Afghanistan? Would he be forgiving of the churches sex scandal and subsequent cover up? What does He feel about the countless Christian atrocities committed throughout history?
Pentecostalism has become a danger in modern society breeding believers in unrealistic supernatural beliefs such as faith healing and the supposed gifts of the spirit including speaking in tongues and discernation. It is what outsiders would consider to be mental illness. Instead of the joy of peace and love some believers feel, it has become a religion of guilt, fear and disappointment.
The problem with such emotional subjectivism is that it makes a person spiritually arrogant and immune to any argument or correction. It is the common belief that once one receives the Holy Spirit, it is the third Person of the Trinity who is behind every thought, feeling, opinion, prejudice and inclination in the individual's head. It is a common refrain in Pentecostal circles that "God told me" and obviously there is nothing you can say to such a person that will convince them otherwise. This presumption extends so far that the individual's "feeling" trumps even the Bible's authority.
Another problem is that the belief system makes a person naively credulous about things which are proven false. There has never been a single miracle healing or fulfilled prophecy in the Christian church, yet its hundreds of millions of followers believe that individuals like Benny Hinn or Kim Clement are healing millions of people, predicting the future and even raising the dead.
The fact that those two, as well as many other proven charlatans, have not been tarred and feathered and driven from organized religion is a powerful testimony that the Christian belief system requires the loss of the mind.
Why is this emotionalism and credulity dangerous? First, because it leads to the creation of new gospels which is an offense against the Christian God. Secondly, because the system which rises up around it is harmful to people because it is false and nothing false can ever be good.
The message of peace and love can be quite appealing for those seeking something to grasp on to when reality gets to be too much for them to handle.
When one moves beyond the surface however, it becomes a whole different thing. Something more complex. Although the command of all the religions that we should love one another, the specific differences between different factions have been the cause of anything but love.
In Christianity alone there is a divide between the Catholic Church and the Protestant church. Then when we look at the divisive factors that separates one protestant denomination from another in their struggle to please God, that it threatens to destroy the very foundations of Christianity itself.
The differences between their perceptions of God are astounding. Some worshiping a conservative, republican type of God that controls the personal morality of men. This perception of God seems bent on punishing believers who drink alcohol, engage in illicit sex, dance, swear and gamble. However this God has little concern for the sins of the rich and powerful as they have throughout history have enslaved and controlled the not so rich and powerful.
Then there is the more liberal perception of God that is committed to the punishing the sins of racial injustice, materialism, greed, war and the destruction of life yet has selective discipline for some of other sins of man.

The whole process starts with the method of worship, which emphasizes excitement with loud, emotionally manipulative music and loud, emotionally manipulative preachers combining to agitate the congregation into a state of emotional frenzy.
